The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has protections in place through March 2023.
- Courts must pause non-payment eviction cases when tenants have pending applications for rental assistance
- Landlords must submit a copy of a Notice to quit attestation form and submission information for any eviction notice for nonpayment of rent given to a residential tenant
