Domestic Abuse Services
The EAP provides a variety of services to employees or family members who are impacted by domestic violence. There is a Domestic Violence Specialist on staff. Services to individual employees include safety planning, advocacy in the workplace, referrals to shelter/housing and other community resources, education about domestic violence, and supportive counseling. Employees can also participate in a 10-week support group for survivors of domestic violence. The EAP also offers training and interventions for workgroups impacted by domestic violence. Managers, supervisors, Human Resource professionals, and concerned co-workers can contact the EAP for consultation when an employee or family member is affected by domestic violence.
