EAP OFFERS TRAINING FOR MANAGERS AND SUPERVISORS AT MGH, BWH, NWH AND NSMC 

As a manager, do you sometimes feel ill-equipped in knowing what to do and who you can turn to in handling issues around workplace challenges and employees’ concerns? Have you encountered employee situations that involve difficult issues such as employees' personal problems that may be impacting performance, or behavioral issues, substance abuse and even domestic violence?

Partners Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is offering an EAP Training for Managers that provides concrete information to help managers understand the resources of EAP. At the end of this session, managers will walk away with valuable tools, skills and knowledge to effectively identify when best to partner with EAP on various workplace challenges facing managers and employees. The curriculum includes a basic EAP orientation for managers, along with material on the role of the manager, how to make a referral, and an interactive case study.
