May is National Bike Safety Month

This event is sponsored by The League of American Cyclists and is recognized across the United States. Promoting cycling can help communities at many levels. Safe cycling encourages physical exercise and health and it can improve the environment by decreasing pollution. Boston and many surrounding communities throughout Massachusetts are promoting cycling as a way to enhance the community and change the way we get around. Massachusetts is the only state in the nation with a statewide bike week: Bay State Bike Week is May 13 - 21, 2017.
