Elder Care

Employees with busy lives who take on eldercare responsibilities need education about resources, and information for planning ahead. Whether you are anticipating your elder relative’s need for assistance, or you are facing a sudden change in your elder relative’s independence, there are helpful guidelines and agencies to support you and your family.

The information below provides an overview of assistance that is available so that you can provide help to your elderly relative and solve problems together. Another excellent resource online is the Family Caregiver Handbook which provides basic information and tools needed to navigate the elder care system in Massachusetts.
