Information & Referral Services

Childcare Information and Referral
The EAP can assist you in finding permanent or emergency/back-up childcare. An EAP Consultant will meet with you and do an assessment to help you determine your childcare needs and the best resources to meet those needs. Back up Care/Emergency Childcare Resources
Backup and emergency childcare information and referral is available for all employees. Specific services either on-site or through Parents in a Pinch INC, may be available for you if you are an employee of BWH, DFCI, MEEI, MGH, Partners, and PCHI. Eldercare Information and Referral
The EAP can assist employees and their families with the complicated processes and emotional impact of eldercare. EAP consultants can assist with planning for caring for older relatives by providing concrete resources and referrals to community providers for legal, financial, housing, and more. The EAP can also provide support around communicating with elderly relatives and making the difficult decisions relating to their care. Legal Information and Referral
The EAP can assist employees who need legal assistance by doing an assessment and providing guidance to the appropriate community or private resource. For more information about legal information and referral resources click here. (Legal )

Financial Information and Referral
If you or your family are experiencing financial difficulties. The EAP will help you to assess how to best resolve these difficulties. The EAP will recommend resources, which can assist you. Some of these resources include internal mechanisms, debt management organizations, and state agencies providing financial assistance (pending eligibility).
