COA

The Partners Employee Assistance Program (EAP) received program re-accreditation from the Council on Accreditation (COA).  EAP has met the elevated standards that are required for receiving accreditation by COA.  The accreditation is for a four-year period, and recognizes high standards in over 350 best practice standards such as continuous quality improvement, delivery of best and evidence-based practices, ensuring and promoting effective service, creating efficiencies and risk management. 

EAP's goals are also recognized as clearly stated for the future and mapped out to positively affect the Partners employees and the entities.  EAP was first accredited in 2009, after a rigorous process which measured all that they do against exacting standards based on clinical and operational best practices.

COA is an international, independent, not-for-profit, child and family service and behavioral healthcare accrediting organization. COA currently accredits 50 different service areas and over 125 types of programs. 

Partners EAP, a Work&Life Resource and award winning internal EAP, is a voluntary and confidential service available to all Partners HealthCare (and affiliated entities) employees, staff and immediate household members. The EAP is designed to help employees and their families with relationship, family, addiction, legal, emotional, stress, work-life balance and other personal issues.
